Anthony McKnight joined South Shore Millwork in 2001 as an estimator for large and small projects. In 2008, he was promoted to estimating manager where he estimates jobs for some of the most knowledgeable millwork customers in New England.
“Being in the high-end residential market exposes us to selective and discerning customers,” said Anthony. “In my 30-plus year career, I have never seen better craftsmanship. Starting off as a cabinetmaker, I can truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into everything we produce.”
Prior to joining South Shore Millwork, Anthony spent more than two decades in the industry working as an estimator with Dave Dawson, Inc., and as a cabinetmaker, drafter, and purchaser with Monarch Industries. He joined South Shore Millwork because of its reputation as one of the best luxury millwork shops in the business, staffed by some of the most gifted professionals.
In any given year, Anthony manages more than 300 project estimates, ranging from $500 to $5M. He likes the fact that every project is unique, which makes his job both interesting and challenging.
Anthony completed the Journeyman Cabinetmaker Apprenticeship offered by the Rhode Island Carpenters Apprenticeship Program. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
