Seasoned industry professional Ed Newton joined South Shore Millwork in 2012. In his short time with the company, he’s accomplished a great deal.
Ed is responsible for developing and winning new commercial business, along with estimating and managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
“I came to South Shore Millwork because of its commitment to quality, service, and schedule, and the fact that it’s large enough to handle any size project,” said Ed. He also likes interacting with the customers, including general contractors and architects, because they are professional and knowledgeable about millwork.
Ed enjoys the challenge of bringing in new customers and projects and at the same time, keeping the current ones completely satisfied. “This is one of the main reasons South Shore Millwork is so successful. They treat every customer like they’re brand new.”
Ed began his career four decades ago as a cabinet maker and foreman. He then moved on to project manager and estimator, and was also an entrepreneur, owning his own millwork business.
When Ed isn’t working, he enjoys watching all kinds of sports, and spending time with wife, five children, and six grandchildren.
