Mark Jewett has a 25-year history as a high-end, luxury millworker. He worked at two industry firms before joining South Shore Millwork in 2000 as shop foreman.
What attracted Mark to South Shore Millwork? He says it was the family-owned and -operated business being built by owner and friend, Jeff Burton. He knows Jeff is a visionary; someone who is always looking to the future for ways to grow South Shore Millwork, yet never losing that “you are our only customer” feel.
“No two days are alike in my position as shop foreman,” said Mark. “I like being challenged, and I get that with this position – whether it’s with scheduling, production, or meeting deadlines with the final output – every day it’s something new.
“And, I really enjoy interacting with a diverse group of employees. My coworkers take pride in their work and are dedicated to our customers’ and the company’s success.”
When not working, family time is very important to Mark. He enjoys being with wife of 23 years and their two daughters.
