In 2005, Schoen Morrison joined South Shore Millwork as a finisher. He moved from finisher to craftsman in the cabinet and door department, then onto engineer/stock lister, and finally to his current position as project manager.
Prior to working at South Shore Millwork, Schoen spent six years with KRH Cabinet Makers as a cabinetmaker, engineer, and project manager. He also spent three years as a furniture maker at Eldred Wheeler and one year at South Shore Millwork as a millworker. Schoen wanted to return to South Shore Millwork, where the quality of workmanship is superior, and customers understand and appreciate that quality.
“Every day I learn something new,” Schoen said. “It’s very rewarding to be involved with these remarkable, high-end projects. There are daily challenges – it’s the nature of the business. But, we come together as a team and figure out a way to get it done.”
The owner Jeff Burton is always looking for ways to improve and expand the company. Through all his hard work, he has created a secure and rewarding workplace for more than 70 employees. South Shore Millwork delivers superior quality, service, and performance because of the excellent leadership and teamwork. We make challenging projects happen, together.”
Schoen spends his free time with his wife and three boys.
