Solar Energy

In 2015, we installed a state-of-the-art solar farm which produces 100% of the electricity required to run our 80,000 sq. ft manufacturing plant. Our solar field produces an average of 1,000 KWH per year, the equivalent to the energy consumed by 194 houses in one year. The system substantially overproduces energy during the summer months, building up a massive energy credit. We apply these credits to low-producing months, making our manufacturing processes completely self-sufficient. Our commitment to solar energy reduces the impact on our country’s power grids and reduces our overall environmental impact.

Recycling & Reuse

Our complete solution for collecting manufacturing waste includes having all of our solid wood waste materials sent offsite to be manufactured into wood-burning pellets.

We also have a specialized distiller in our finishing department that reclaims 80% of our solvents for reuse. Our recycling program has proven to be effective in our mission to control the amount of our waste that reaches landfills, reducing our impact on the environment.
